Our insurance products, together with the manner in which we sell them, should meet the fair and proper needs of each of our policyholders. Similarly, any insurance claims received will be treated in a fair and even-handed manner - fair to both the company and the policyholder.
Key elements of our business process including our culture and values, our business strategy, product design, marketing and advertising, sales, after sales service and complaints handling are regularly measured from the standpoint of actual and/or perceived fairness to our policyholders, and adjustments made where necessary.
It is easy to say, but not as easy to deliver: we believe our policyholders are our greatest asset and it is vital that we treat them in a manner perceived as fair.
